Notifications Are Silent: Android

Check Device/Phone Volume

Alerts will come through silently if your device is on silent. Please check your notification volume by going to settings, sound, and tap volume. Ensure your volume for notifications is turned on.

Check Emergency app
You’ll also need to make sure you have “Notify With Sound’ enabled in the Emergency app under your location's alert settings.

• Navigate to the locations tab
• Click on the location that you would like to check the settings for
• Click "View Location"
• Click the cog/wheel on the top right
• Click "Set Up Alerts"
• Tap on "Advanced Options" under your chosen alert type
• Ensure "Notify with Sound" is on

Check Device/Phone Settings

• Navigate to settings on your device/phone
• Click "Notifications"
• Under the "recently sent" section click "more"
• Use the search feature on the top right to search for "Emergency"
• Click "notification categories"
• In the list, click on the specific event type you wish to check
• On this screen, you can toggle the notification settings for each event type, including allowing the notification type to interrupt do not disturb.
