The Emergency app lets you choose how you get alerts for each location. If you aren’t getting push notifications, check your settings in both the app and on your phone.
1. Check Your Emergency App
Go to: Locations tab → tap your location → tap Set Up Alerts → under specific Hazard, tap Advanced Options → tap specific Alert.
For each alert, you can choose how you would like to receive it:
- Show Alerts (in the app)
- Notify with Sound
- Send Notifications (to your device)
- Tap Finish.
You can also turn on Critical Alerts if you want them to come through even when your phone is on Do Not Disturb.
2. Check Your Phone Settings
- Open your device settings.
- Tap Notifications, then App Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Emergency App.
- From the list, toggle the specific event type to be enabled.
- Enable All Emergency Notifications.
